My client had a notecard design she wanted me to work from. We added a few customized details, to make this room extra-special for her little girl.
This little girl's room was originally painted for boys. We used the colors in her bedding to pick the wall color and the design for the wall.

A friend fell in love with the people of Africa after a mission trip. She wanted a painting to remind her of that special trip.
This room was a lot of fun. With their color scheme of pink and green in mind, I was asked to create a large design covering two walls. In the opposite corner, I painted a sweet mural to coordinate with the pillow cover.
In a very large room for three boys, we discussed their love of airplanes and outer space. Together we conceived an idea that included both. My client provided the propeller and other airplanes you see in the final photos.

This lucky baby boy had a painting commissioned for his very own nursery. The sophisticated color palette and decor of his room inspired me to use a grown up theme for this painting. The letters of his name are incorporated and this is a painting that will serve just as well in other rooms of the house as he grows.

The texture on the walls lends is self well to glazing and antiquing. This client wanted the walls to be faintly metallic, so I used gold and silver acrylic glazes. For antiquing the corners and around fixtures, I used a combination of latex and acrylic paints.
