Heirloom Table Restoration

Table2
Like a lot of heirloom furniture, this table had seen better days. It's surface was marred by years of use and needed to be stripped. I removed the old stain finish and replaced it with an updated stain more resistant to wear and tear. It has some minor damage to the wood that was sanded and repaired prior to refinishing. I can apply this same technique to new or antique furniture, as well as a variety of other painted finishes.

Refinishing Woodwork

Mantel
This mantel was stark white and didn't work with the rest of the woodwork in the house. It needed a little more personality. I stained and repainted the wood, then distressed it with a variety of techniques. The finished result is an aged look that blends well with the other decor. I can apply this technique with any color on any wooden surface, stained or painted.

Pretty, pink and green & perfect for baby

This room was a lot of fun. With their color scheme of pink and green in mind, I was asked to create a large design covering two walls. In the opposite corner, I painted a sweet mural to coordinate with the pillow cover.

Planes & rocketships perfect for boys

In a very large room for three boys, we discussed their love of airplanes and outer space. Together we conceived an idea that included both. My client provided the propeller and other airplanes you see in the final photos.

Antiquing and glazing textured bathroom walls

The texture on the walls lends is self well to glazing and antiquing. This client wanted the walls to be faintly metallic, so I used gold and silver acrylic glazes. For antiquing the corners and around fixtures, I used a combination of latex and acrylic paints.

In addition to decorative painting, I'm also able to change your existing walls. This includes removal of wall covering, changing or adding wall texture and finishing the walls, either with paint or your choice of finish.
